Working principle
The tumble dryer is an internal heating conduction type rotary continuous drying device. The rotating drum passes through the lower chute and adheres to a film of thickness. The heat is transported through the pipe to the inner wall of the drum and is conducted to the outer wall of the drum. The feed film is then conducted, so that the moisture in the film is evaporated, dehumidified, The moisture content of the material is dry. The dried material is placed on the surface of the drum scraper shovel away from the drum to the screw conveyor placed under the scraper, the dry material is concentrated and packaged by the screw conveyor.
Performance characteristics
◎ high thermal efficiency. Because the heat transfer mechanism of the tumble dryer is heat conduction, the heat transfer direction is consistent throughout the entire operating cycle. Except for cover heat dissipation and thermal radiation loss, all the remaining heat is used for evaporation of the moisture content of the cartridge membrane, and the thermal efficiency can reach 70%. -80%.
◎ Operational flexibility, wide applicability. Adjust the drying factors of the drum dryer. Such as the feed concentration, the thickness of the coating material film, the temperature of the heating medium, the rotation speed of the drum, etc., can change the drying efficiency of the drum dryer, and many factors are not implicated in each other. This brings great convenience to the drum drying operation, so that it can adapt to the drying of a variety of materials and different production requirements.
◎ Short drying time. The drying cycle of materials is generally only 10-300 seconds, suitable for heat-sensitive materials. If the drum dryer is set in a vacuum, it can be operated under reduced pressure.
◎ high drying rate. Because the coating material applied to the wall of the coating is very thin, generally 0.3-1.5mm, and the direction of heat transfer and mass transfer is consistent, the surface of the coating film can maintain the evaporation intensity of 20-70kg.H2O/m2.h.
Installation
The installation of this machine is based on the general layout of the installation, the ground should be flat, the steam pipe inlet pressure gauge and safety valve, the steam inlet flange connected firmly.

◎ Periodically check the rotational flexibility of rotating parts to see if they are stuck. Periodically add grease to parts such as sprocket and periodically correct errors in metering devices such as pressure gauges. Serious wear on the V-belt transmission should be replaced in time.

◎ Jog the main motor to observe the correct direction of the main drum.
◎ Observe whether the main roller and the transmission parts are flexible. Observe whether the steam inlet and outlet are connected and whether the pressure gauge is within the working pressure range.
◎ Start the motor, the main roller is running smoothly, after the temperature is increased, the speed of the motor and the uniformity of the material on the roller are adjusted after the material is added to control the final moisture content of the material.
◎ Start auger motor, output dry finished material, and adjust the speed of auger motor according to the amount of dry product.
